I was here for a lunch with my sister and Kim's Deli showed up on Yelp.
KD was small little restaurant it only had 3 tables and there was no fancy interior. Looks can be deceiving, but KD is worth the shot in my opinion.
All the Banhmi subs whether you're vegetarian or meat eater their subs are $5 each. We had Combo Sandwich (mixture of meat) and Pork Belly Sub, Baguette was soft and crispy and Combo Sub was the best ever. Combo and Pork Belly both had mayo and Pate, Combo Sub had this bbq meat and some different meat with cucumber, carrots and daikon. Pork Belly Sub tasted alright.
Ca Phe Sua Da (Iced Coffee) was strong and delicious. I requested the owner's wife to add more water and she helped me adding more water onto this drink. Staff was helpful and friendly. This place is owned by young family, and they came from Ho Chi Minh City. I had brief conversation about my trip to Vietnam in 2017 and the owner even recommended good BanhMi place in HCMC. **Cash and debit payment only** -

My kids came here a week ago and were craving another Vietnamese Sub this Sunday on our way home from church!
The restaurant isn't anything fancy but the sandwiches are super tasty!
We tried the Pork and Beef. I liked the Beef but I would say the Pork was the most tasty with some strong Ginger notes in the marinade...super good!
I just can't get enough of the pickled vegetables! It adds such a good flavour and texture to the sandwich! Along with the fresh cucumbers...the taste and textures are on point with this sandwich!
They used some great fresh baguettes as well!
We also got a Chicken Sticky Rice Bowl. It was good but I would definitely go for a sandwich again next time!
I hear that it is fairly new ownership...the owners were lovely! Happy to have us in their restaurant and so happy that we enjoyed the food!
And definitely try the Iced Vietnamese Coffee...it is strong and delicious...just as it is supposed to be! -

I was in the area and decided to stop by here looking for the previous shop Taydo in this location. It turned out the place has renovated and changed ownership to Kim's Deli.
The ambience is a great improvement from the previous shop - new flooring, tables and counter. It still has the take out feel.
I decided to order the #1 Combo Sandwich. The bread was toasted for a short bit before all the filling was assembled. I took the sandwich home to eat. The sandwich was nicely made. The bread was fresh.
